Jurong

This is a residential and industrial area found west of the city centre. Jurong Town boasts of having a number of Singapore’s tourist hotspots. There is the magnificent Jurong Bird Park, with its extensive collection of tropical and exotic birds. There is also the Chinese and Japanese Gardens, where you can see nature arrayed in a beautiful setting. Other attractions include the Singapore Science Centre (where you can discover scientific facts hands on) and the Haw Par Villa (a theme park that features Chinese mythology).
