You will know you are in Little India (in Singapore) by the Hindi film music and pungent aromas that is in the air. Little India is borded by Jalan Besar, Racecourse Road and Serangoon Road.

It is a place filled with colour and excitement. Get a taste of the fried chapattis and native Indian food sold by street stalls, sit and take in the hustle and bustle in the Zhujiao Centre (Little India’s main market) as merchants go about selling their wares. Get the print of that Hindu god you have long been looking for or sift through the spices and ingredients in the many spice shops.

There are also highly fascinating temples in this area – the Temple of 1000 Lights the Veerama Kali Ammam and the Sri Srinivasa Perumal.
