Singapore Zoo and Night Safari

Singapore Zoo
Welcome to the fascinating world of animals! The Singapore Zoo and Night Safari are adjoining attractions that provide you with an informative experience.
The Singapore Zoo is composed of 28 hectares of lush landscapes that is home to over 4000 inhabitants. It features the largest primate collection in the world and some endangered species (blue eyed white tigers, orangutans, white rhinos and Komodo dragons included).
These are presented in a setting designed to imitate their natural habitats. There is the “Great Rift Valley of Ethopia” exhibit which shows a whole ecosystem, including flora, fauna and humans.
The Singapore Zoo is world class. Set on a peninsula jutting into the Upper Seletar Reservoir, the zoo's 28 landscaped hectares are home to more than 4,000 residents. Newer attractions like the 'Hamadryas Baboons - The Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia' convey entire ecosystems: animal, mineral, vegetable and human. There is a colony of cheeky, brazenfaced baboons doing antics that are downright funny. There is also the “Australian Outback” exhibit which mimics the great outback’s overall look.
Night Safari
Now, if you still want more, you can visit the adjacent Night Safari. This is the first wildlife park in the world that is geared towards night visitors. The Night Safari is 40 hectares of forest which provides you with a glimpse of over a thousand nocturnal animals from timid forest creatures to ferocious predators.
Hop in the tram and weave through selected habitats to learn more of these creatures. Excellent lighting techniques are utilized to enable you to view these creatures coming out to play. Don’t miss the "Creatures of the Night" Show. You can also go on a walking trail that will enable you to view the creatures up close and personal.
