Tokyo
From Track2Asia
Overview
When arriving at Narita Airport in Tokyo Japan, you may be amazed about how formal everything is. This country loves white gloves. Everybody wears them: The customs officials, the taxi drivers, and even the train greeters. Narita airport is far away from Tokyo downtown. Depending on where in Tokyo you want to go, it can take more than two hours to get there from the airport.
What you hear about people in Tokyo is true; people in this city are addicted to technology. Everywhere you go, you will see people typing on their cell phones. Despite how busy the metro system is, every thing is very ordered. There is no pushing what so ever! Tokyo is a junction of two worlds; the traditional world, and the modern world. Both are equally interesting.
